Treat your kids to a fun day out with trains by taking them to the Old Deeside Railway Line, where you can go for a short ride of 15-20 minutes on an old train along the Aberdeen-Ballater train line and the volunteers also let your kids get into the driver’s area, pull the locomotive’s whistle etc. Let your spirits soar at the Aberdeen International Youth Festival held in the months of July and August, which brings together the very best in international culture and performing arts. Theatre, Dance, World Music, Opera, Orchestras and Jazz; they have it all.
